Radar & laser defense

Serious protection, invisible installation. Custom-integrated radar and laser defense systems with nothing suction-cupped to your windshield and nothing dangling from your mirror.

What it is

A properly installed defense system disappears into the vehicle: front and rear sensors integrated behind trim, laser countermeasures mounted precisely where they work, and alerts delivered through discreet displays or your existing interfaces. It's the OEM+ philosophy applied to protection — full capability, zero visual clutter.

Who it's for

Drivers of cars that draw attention — and drivers who simply want situational awareness without a gadget stuck in their sightline. If you've bought a windshield detector and left it in the glovebox because it looked wrong in your interior, this is the version you'll actually use.

How it works

The process

Consult

We talk about how and where you drive, and which level of protection actually fits your use.

Design

Sensor placement is mapped to your vehicle's fascia and trim for coverage without visible hardware.

Build

Integrated installation with factory-grade wiring — sensors hidden, displays where your eyes already go.

Verify

Every zone is tested and the alert logic configured so it informs you without nagging you.

Questions

Defense FAQ

Is radar detection legal?

Radar detectors are legal in Arizona for passenger vehicles. Rules differ for commercial vehicles and in other states, and laser-device regulations vary by state — we'll walk you through what applies to how and where you drive during the consultation.

Will I see any of the equipment from inside or outside the car?

Outside: no — sensors integrate behind or within the fascia. Inside: only what you choose. Alerts can run through a small hidden display, discreet LEDs, or audio cues, depending on the system and your preference.

Is an installed system actually better than a windshield detector?

Meaningfully. Dedicated front and rear antennas improve detection range and directional awareness, laser countermeasures only work when they're mounted at the right height and angle — and an integrated system is there every drive, not in the glovebox.

Can it integrate with a system you're already building for me?

Yes — defense pairs naturally with an OEM+ audio build since the vehicle is already apart. Combining projects saves labor and keeps every added system to the same standard.

How long does installation take?

Typically one to two days depending on sensor count and display integration. Combined audio-and-defense projects are scheduled as one build.

We install Uniden R-Series systems — from front-only protection to full dual-radar, six-transponder coverage. Systems are configured per vehicle and driving profile — coverage level, sensor count, and display options all set the number. Quoted at consultation.
