The V EIGHT DSP ULTIMATE is the next evolutionary step of the HELIX multi-channel concept: an 8-channel amplifier with a fully integrated 14-channel DSP, rethought from the ground up in signal processing, connectivity, power, and sound reproduction.

Class HD amplifier technology
Audiotec Fischer’s Class HD concept combines Class H technology with the operating principle of a Class D amplifier. A continuously variable internal supply voltage keeps idle losses to a minimum, and the new output stage generation delivers around 66 percent more power than its predecessor – 8 x 110 Watts RMS into 4 Ohms, or 4 x 110 Watts RMS into 4 Ohms plus 4 x 220 Watts RMS with channels 5–8 driving 2-Ohm loads – with an efficiency beyond conventional Class D designs.

Connectivity for modern OE integration
Twelve highlevel inputs, six RCA inputs, an optical SPDIF input, the new Extension Card 2.0 slot, and the USB PerfectStream interface cover practically every integration scenario, including complex multi-channel factory systems. Eight speaker outputs and six processed RCA line outputs – instead of the previous two – leave room for system expansion, while the latest ADEP.3 circuit ensures seamless integration with modern factory head units.

ACO platform and DSP PC-Tool 6
The 32 Bit ACO CoProcessor handles all control and communication tasks: fast start-up, lightning-fast switching between ten sound setups, and features such as Augmented Bass Processing, RealCenter, Dynamic Loudness Control, and the Advanced Input Signal Analyzer (AISA) for easy analysis and correction of input signals. Paired with the new DSP PC-Tool 6 software – including the automated TuneEQ function, which adjusts the equalizers toward a reference curve from a single measurement per channel – the fourteen processed channels can be tuned with exceptional precision.

USB PerfectStream and future-ready expansion
USB PerfectStream carries lossless audio from a smartphone, tablet, or PC, transmits real-time measurement signals for AISA, and connects the DSP PC-Tool software – no external measurement interface required. As the first HELIX amplifier with the Extension Card 2.0 slot, the V EIGHT DSP ULTIMATE also remains open to future modules such as Bluetooth HD streaming. Start-Stop capability, Power Save Mode, and the Auto Remote switch round out a package built for seamless daily use.
