As always, we start each and every custom project with a 3D rendered design.

For this project, we started with the trunk lid.

Our client, Dave aka "Super Dave," wanted a full color acrylic sign with some artwork he had pre-made.

Dave wanted to show off each track he has raced on.

The solution to this was a edge-lit acrylic sign with the name & diagram of the tracks he chose.

There needed to be easy access to a battery charged he has mounted in the trunk.

We incorported this into one of the side panels, with a magnetic "12V" cover plate.

Everything from the design, fabrication, lighting, and acrylic engraving was done in house.

There was zero outsourcing done on this project.

Not only did this system look good, it sounded great!

After completion, the vehicle went straight to Las Vegas for the Optima Street Car Challenge at the SEMA Car Show.

Dave went on to win 1st place in not only the "trunk judging" portion of the event, but he won the entire event!
